BX Plastics was a former Plastics engineering and production company. The company was acquired by Xylonite in the 1980s. The company had a plant in Manningtree. They held several patents on plastic products and manufacturing processes in the 1960s.[1]

BX Plastics was a former Plastics engineering and production company. The company was acquired by Xylonite in the 1980s. The company had a plant in Manningtree. They held several patents on plastic products and manufacturing processes in the 1960s.[1]

Following her graduation, Margaret Thatcher worked for a short time as a research chemist for BX Plastics in the late 1940s.[2]
